Dr. Kai is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who offers a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to psychotherapy. He understands that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and he works to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. His work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and attachment-based perspectives, helping clients gently explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while learning practical skills to navigate daily life. Dr. Kai commonly works with high-functioning individuals, Division-I student-athletes, and adults experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma, identity concerns, or major life transitions, and he welcomes anyone who feels this approach may be a good fit. He is currently licensed to provide telehealth services in the state of New Mexico and is in the process of becoming licensed in California. Therapy with Dr. Kai is compassionate, structured, and paced with care, focusing on both insight and real-world application.
